WFA organized an Orientation Program aimed at training and equipping its Board Members, Council
of Experts, and Project Manager with the necessary skills to manage the Summit effectively, address
conflict resolution, and oversee post-summit advocacy events.
The program was followed by a networking reception with the participation of relevant member states,
providing an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and foster collaboration. Additionally, meetings
were held with organizations focusing on peace and dialogue to further enhance WFA initiatives.
The Orientation Program, reception, and related meetings took place between 12 and
15 February 2024 in Geneva, with the generous support of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs
(FDFA) of Switzerland.
